Sexton’s House refurbishment

Since before Christmas 2013, a major re-decoration and refurbishment project has been undertaken and completed on Tullow Parish Sexton’s House. This project which consisted of painting and decorating, a replacement fitted kitchen, installation of electric cooker, replacement of floor coverings and curtains, was co-ordinated and directed by Alan Rhodes. Besides the professional services of an electrician and plasterer, the project was undertaken entirely by a team of volunteers. The volunteer team consisted of: Alan Rhodes, Peter Cobbe, Ashlyn Casey, Sandra Rhodes, Noel Salmon, Peter Wiliams, Ray Casey, Nigel Swanwick, Torren Gale, Michael O’Kane and the Rector. In addition, the donation of items for this project is very much appreciated. A special thank you to Andrew and Rebecca Beck for the donation of the kitchen units.
