We have now come to the end of another Bowling session. Our membership remained low but this was made up for by enthusiasm on club nights and performance both in friendly and competition matches. We held our A.G.M. on 8th April and the following officers were elected: Captain – Hilda Hennessy,
Hon. Secretary – Joan Darling, Hon. Treasurer – Pat MacConnell and three committee members – Hazel Alexander, Fionnuala Carroll and Rita MacConnell.
Our end of season Dinner was held the following evening in Pielow’s, Cabinteely and was enjoyed by all. We were pleased the Rector and Vera were able to join us.
We send best wishes to Alan Grey for a speedy recovery and hope to see him back amongst us soon.
Wishing all an enjoyable summer break. Bowling will commence again next September when we hope to welcome new members.
