Lenten & Easter services – an appreciation!

Our Lenten and Easter Services were once again very special in the life of our parish. The contributions of Rev. Cecily West and our Diocesan Lay Minister, Alan Rhodes who both preached along with the Rector during Holy Week, were greatly appreciated. The splendid decoration of our Church building for Easter day is a continuing testament to the skills and dedication of our flower arrangers under the direction of Janet Moore and Brigid FitzSimon. The musical talents of our organist, who played the “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s “Messiah” as an organ voluntary after the Service delighted our Easter Day congregation.

The previous Sunday (Palm Sunday), Tullow Friends organised an Easter Egg hunt in the Church grounds after the main mid-morning Service. This proved to be a delight to children of all ages and a great test to their foraging skills. Our thanks to all involved.
