Another enjoyable Swap night was had by all present on 22nd February and €180 was raised towards this year’s chosen charity ‘The Blue Cross’ for animal welfare.
A large group thoroughly enjoyed a night at the Opera in the Pavilion Theatre in Dun Laoghaire on Saturday 10th March. It was a live screening of Bizet’s ‘Carmen’ relayed from the Royal Opera House Covent Garden. It was a very modern production by Barrie Kosky and conducted by Jakub Hrusa. Our thanks to Patricia for making all the arrangements and to the volunteer drivers for the evening.
A Soup Lunch will take place on Sunday 22nd April after the main mid-morning Service and it is hoped to have a representative from the Blue Cross to tell us about their work. All support would be greatly appreciated.
