Sunday 11th March saw 10 parishioners and friends undertake a walk from Herbert Park along the direction of the Dodder toward the Liffey, crossing over the East Link Bridge and re-crossing by the Samuel Beckett and then returning beside the Grand Canal, stopping at the Old Schoolhouse for refreshments.
This walk replaced the original planned route around the Little Sugarloaf due to the extreme weather of the previous weekend. The weather on the day itself was perfect for the revised itinerary and was enjoyed by all participants. The next group walk is scheduled for Sunday 6th May when a walk is planned around Glendalough, Derrybawn. Walkers will leave the church grounds following coffee after the mid-morning Service at 12:00pm sharp. Everyone welcome!
