May I sincerely thank the parishioners who so generously contributed to the Gift Day in September. A total of €17,000 has been received to date. It will be possible to reclaim tax on this amount during 2017 and the total benefit to the parish by the end of 2017 should exceed €20,000. In the meanme, our cash flow remains tight due to the nature and timing of certain payments.
I intend to close the Gift Day appeal at the end of November to accommodate any late contributions.
