The next walk will be on Sunday 13th March in Djouce Woods and Powerscourt Deerpark. This is a pleasant woodland walk with views of Djouce Mountain and Powerscourt Waterfall. The route climbs up an overgrown track built for Queen Victoria, when she visited Ireland, towards Paddock Ponds. The terrain is mostly easy going and the entire walk will be about 2 to 3 hours long.
Walkers will leaves from Tullow Church Hall at 12.00 pm after the main mid-morning Service and cars will be shared. Appropriate clothing and footwear should be worn and it is recommended that walkers bring a light lunch – drink (hot flask), sandwich, bar, fruit etc. All welcome!
