We have now made three deliveries to the Women’s Refuge in Bray and these have been gratefully received. In order to preserve anonymity for the women we do not go into the shelter but meet the staff outside. We have also arranged the delivery of a 3 piece suite to replace the one they had which was past its best – thanks to Frank Johnson’s crew for this.
When the women leave their homes they are obviously in a state of extreme stress and do not bring anything with them – so if anyone can supply children’s pyjamas for the hamper they would be most welcome. Please keep up your donations of dry food goods and toiletries, it all makes a difference, thank you very much.
