Very many thanks for all the help in putting on the delicious lunch on Thursday 7th March. I’ve never seen such clean plates. Also, I really appreciated all the running up and down to the kitchen everyone did, whilst I sat at the table like a lady! The buzz of conversation was very good to hear. Harold has turned 90 and Sheila Bailey is 91. Frank Tate is well into his 90s too and Gladys will be 97 at the end of March. It’s great to see them enjoying their health, the friendship and the chat.
Also, big thanks to John for a lovely service of Holy Communion and to Sally for her assistance with the service and to Dr. Ken Glass for palying the organ on the day.
Our next event will most likely be a lunchtime concert in the National Concert Hall in July – a suggestion which was enthusiastically received by members. We will have a further update on this nearer the time.
