Coffee after Church on Palm Sunday hosted a fund raiser in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. The previous Friday (22nd.) was designated national “Daffodil Day”, but unfortunately due to the inclement weather, it has been estimated that those collections were down by some 50% on previous years.
Fortunately, the Palm Sunday collection was not weather-dependent and a total just in excess of €418 was collected.
