Sunday 9th March saw 16 parishioner and friends (plus 3 dogs!) undertake a walk on the Metals from Dun Laoghaire to Dalkey. Those with dogs had twice the walk as they parked in Dun Laoghaire and so had to walk the return journey. The rest of the party parked in Dalkey and took the Dart to the starting point in Dun Laoghaire. The weather on the day proved to perfect and it was a great social occasion.
The next group walk is scheduled for Sunday 18th May when it is planned to walk a route through Tibradden Woods enjoying the varied flora and fauna for which the area is renowned. After soup and brown bread in the church hall following the mid- morning Service we will leave the grounds of the church at 12.30 sharp. Everyone welcome.
