This Service was held on 16th February and saw a turnout of Brownies, Guides, cubs and Scouts which meet regularly in the Parish Hall. The Service began with the entrance of two colour parties carrying the Guides and Scouts standards. As is usual, there was an ecumenical dimension to the Service as we welcomed leaders and members from other Christian denominations. Thank you to the leaders and members from other Christian denominations. Thank you to the members of the various uniformed organisations who led Readings and Prayers; their input was greatly appreciated. In addition, there was a holy Baptism during the Service at which we welcomed Evie Iona McKernan. The Service was followed by tea/coffee in the Parish Hall. There was also a “bake sale” organised by the guides.
