This Service took place on Sunday 24th November. Nominations were sought over the preceding weeks and with a good response, the selection of the top eleven hymns was easily made. There was a mix of hymns old and new, rousing and reflective. This helped considerably in moulding our liturgy on the day. As all were well known, this allowed everyone to join in with gusto except for one choir hymn – “God be in my head”. Many thanks to all who nominated their favourite hymns and special “thank you” to the choir and Paul McNulty, our organist and director of music.
