Looking back on the Season, our new policy of not playing St. Brigid’s has been very successful and has kept morale high. The Season is coming to an end soon, with many threatening to ‘peak’ in performance. Alas, this has been an empty threat. Maybe next Season! Seriously, it really has been a great year for the ‘club’; numbers attending have been up, the standard is improving all the time, with long energy-sapping rallies and some very competitive matches. Imagine what it would be like if we could actually see the shuttlecock! As usual on the last day of the Season (30th Amy) – after a short tournament – we shall swap our ‘tea and bikkies’ for something stronger and tastier, and celebrate in the small hours. Hope as many as possible can make it. Looking forward to next Season already!
