As mentioned last month, the Archbishop’s office recently published the list of Confirmation Services for 2013. Due to recent changes, all confirmation Services will be conducted on a Rural Deanery basis (up to three Services on any given date if necessary). The date allocated to Monkstown South Rural Deanery (of which Tullow is part) is 24th March 2013, with the most likely venue to be Tullow Church (the time of the Service will be agreed with the Archbishop closer to the date.)
In anticipation of this, Confirmation classes will be commencing shortly. A Pre-Confirmation Day organised by 3Rock Youth scheduled for Saturday 20th. October 2012 has been postponed until January 2013 and the new date will be advised in due course. Those who may be interested in making this very important step in their faith journey (and/or their parents) are asked to contact the Rector before the end of October.
