there is no better place to clear the head than a good walk over the hills overlooking Tullow Parish! From the public car park the walk leads up to the Leadmines Chimney which is a dominant landmark in the area. Lead was mined nearby and the poisonous fumes from the works were carried by a stone flue over one mile long up to the chimney. Onwards to a short climb up Carrickgollogan to admire the Dublin and Wicklow mountains.
