Note this (!) – if you missed the Seafield Singers

Our concert with the Seafield Singers on Friday 18th May can only be described as a magical evening in the presence of a very talented group of musicians. Under the direction of Alison Young, with accompanist, Elizabeth Hilliard, soprano and compere, Niamh Murray and baritone, Roger Pickett, the choir sang a varied programme of both sacred and secular music to the delight of the audience. Niamh introduced the various pieces with her customary vivaciousness and good humour and quickly endeared herself to everyone. After the concert, a reception was held in the parish hall which enabled people to talk to members of the choir, mix with friends or meet new people. Many thanks to Susan O’Kane for organising the concert, and also to Susan and her team of volunteers for organising the reception. Also, many thanks to the Seafield Singers, Alison Young, Niamh Murray and Roger Pickett for their time and talent and for making the evening such a memorable one.
