28 members and friends had a most enjoyable outing to Russborough House. Tea and scones were waiting for us and were followed by an hour and a half tour of the house with our knowledgeable and entertaining guide, Ann. After lunch, various options were available from visiting the maze to the woodland walk, rhododendron garden, new history exhibition, souvenir shop or just sitting in the sun enjoying an ice cream and chat.
The raffle on the coach on the way back was a surprise and thanks were expressed to Patricia, Joan and the committee for arranging such a lovely day out.
