We had a good get-together on March 8th with a service of Holy Communion followed by Lunch in the Rectory. It was a glorious spring day which lifted the spirits of all involved. This event was originally scheduled for March 1st, but had to be called off due to the red weather alert.
As always, the team of volunteers led by Jennifer Sowman excelled themselves with their culinary skills which added greatly to the enjoyment of the occasion. As an added bonus, we were able to celebrate Jennifer’s birthday with her! A hearty ‘thank you’ to all concerned: to those who prepared the meal, those who served, those who provided lifts and to Dr. Ken Glass for playing the organ during the Service.
