Uniformed Organisations Service – a review

This Service was held on 12th February and saw a good representation of Brownies, Guides, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers which meet regularly in the Parish Hall. The Service began with the entrance of three colour parties carrying the Brownie, Scout and Guide flags.
As is usual, there was an ecumenical dimension to the Service as we welcomed leaders, members and parents from other Christian denominations. Thank you to the members of the various uniformed organisations who led the Readings and Prayers, their input was greatly appreciated.
It was another notable occasion when the number of under 20’s exceeded the over 20’s at our main Sunday morning Church Service!
