Badminton – travelling along – is that a Beckett racquet I see before me??

The club was well spread out in the last weeks; Bangkok (probably for some badly needed extra coaching). Cayman Isles/Florida/Jersey (someone has to do it), The Gambia (R & R), New Zealand/Australia (trip of a lifetime) and even as far as Ballina, Cork and Rosslare!

Badminton though was fully active in their absence, with a couple of birthdays celebrated in usual style.

Any truth in the rumour that Sam Beckett played badminton in the hall ?
