Starting at Djouce Woods car-park, the route wanders down to the river in Powerscourt Deerpark with a view of the famous Waterfall. It then climbs uphill along an overgrown route, built for Queen Victoria during her visit to Ireland, to the former Paddock Ponds which arwe permanently drained following flooding from Hurricane Charlie.
