Thank you to everyone who supported our recent Soup Lunch in aid fo the Hope foundation and Habitat for Humanity. We raised €650 which was a great amount. This will be divided between the two charities. Already Hannah Garvey has been to Calcutta and spoke at the lunch of her experiences – she did very well indeed. Our very best wishes to Heather Swanwick who will be travelling to Oradea, Romania in the coming weeks.
Our outing will be on Thursday 14th May. We hope to go to the Arboretum near Carlow for a visit and lunch. On the way back we will stop at the Newbridge Silverware Shop in Newbridge. The cost of the trip is €15 (which does not include lunch). Please add your name to the notice in the Church porch if you would like to join us.
Our final get-together for this season will be in June – details will be announced in due course.
