A group of some nine members (and two dogs) participated in the October walk on 3 Rock mountain. They left the Church grounds at 12:30pm on 5th October after a soup and sandwich lunch in the Parish Hall.
This year the walks are under the leadership of Donald Gill, who is an experienced and enthusiastic hill walker and Alpinist. However, all the Evergreen planned walks are rated as easy and suitable even for the occasional walker.
The programme for the rest of the year is as follow (all leaving the Church Grounds at 12:30pm after a light lunch following main mid-morning Service unless otherwise stated):
Sunday 28th December 2014 – Leadmines and the Scalp (meeting at 2:00pm at the home of Frank Johnson)
Sunday 8th March 2015 – Killiney Hill
Sunday 17th May 2015 – Lough Dan
