Did you know that the best shuttlecocks are made from 16 feathers from the left wing of a goose ?
As you may have guessed from the above there is not much to report, except for a couple of anonymous birthdays (as if they weren’t old enough already!).
However, as usual they were just excuses for more tea & cake at tea-break. Still a few off injured (one prominent member twisted knee on way to badminton session – no drink involved we understand), but even so 16 turned up in mid- month sessions which is very encouraging!
Please note that there will be no badminton on Thursday 17th April on account of Holy week. New Members always welcome; just arrive along at 8.30 on a Thursday.
