Connecting people in friendship – The Connect Group

Our Advent communion Service followed by a meal in the Rectory was held on Tuesday 17^th December. It was greatly enjoyed by all who took part and it was lovely to see so many happy faces as long-standing acquaintances were renewed and new friendships formed. After the coffee and mince pies, a seasonal sing-song rounded off the afternoon. Many thanks to Jennifer Sowman and her team of volunteers – cooking, serving the meal and arranging lifts – for all their hard work. Also a big “thank you” to those who arranged and provided lifts to and from the event.
