The “Harvest” get-together of the Connect Group took place on Thursday 25th October. The afternoon commenced with a celebration of Holy Communion in the Church. The Church itself was decked out with beautiful decorations of fruit, vegetables, flowers, foliage and other items to create maximum visual effect and to produce the scents of the season. The Service was followed by lunch in the Rectory which provided a great opportunity for conversation and fellowship. Our thanks to Dr. Ken Glass who played the organ at the Service and to Jennifer Sowman and her team for providing the excellent team and organising the necessary transportation.
