This service on Sunday 25th November was one of the most moving services of recent years. An almost full church of family members from far and wide remembered loved ones by joining in the commemorative candle ceremony and the specially chosen prayers and hymns. Thanks to all involved in putting together what we hope will be an annual service.
As part of the service a beautiful tapestry was ‘unveiled’. Hand stitched by a parishioner, it is on the wall of the nave of the church and was erected by the Johnson family in memory of their parents Benita and Frank Johnson, both active parishioners for many years.
