In case you ever wondered what the Select Vestry is – it is elected annually at the Easter General Vestry by parish members who are on the General Vestry Register. Select Vestry members are responsible for the decision-making and day-to-day management of the parish. Responsibilities include managing the parish finances, providing the infrastructure to support ministry and worship, looking after the running of the parish buildings and ensuring compliance with state and church legislation and regulations. Parishioners who are not on the Tullow Register of Vestry Members and may wish to vote may register towards the end of the year – don’t worry, we’ll let you know when this can be done.
