The parish golf outing in Rathfarnham Golf Club was stableford format and was won by Chris Wojnar’s team – Chris, Robert Houghton and Peter Moggerly (80 points). runner-up was the Forsyth family team – Cliff, Jill and daughter Lynda Keartland (70 points). The Forsyths also won the Yellow Ball competition (ask a golfer!). Ken Gregory, Neil Stuart and Torrne Gale took third place with a score of 67 points and Barbara Cooper was the popular winner on the ‘nearest the pin’ competition. the Rector and Vera, who presented the prizes, and some other non-golfers joined the golfers for dinner and prize-giving in the clubhouse afterwards.
