A Coffee Morning in aid of Aoife’s Journey will take place at Tullow Rectory, Brighton Road, Carrickmines/Foxrock on Saturday 26th May between 10:00am and 12:00pm. Aoife is a teenager from Foxrock village whose immune system failed over three years ago. Since then, she has been battling multiple debilitating illnesses. She can no longer go to school although she has completed her oral examinations and her dream is to sit the rest of her Leaving Certificate examinations. Her only hope is to travel abroad for treatment in Germany. Linda, her mother, is known to many for her work with Doyle Nurseries on the public space in the village and her grandmother, Denise, was the mainstay of the Tidy towns committee in Foxrock for many years.
