For the past eleven years the informal open-air Service with the parishioners of Kilternan on the first Sunday of September has been an important date on our Parish Calendar. This was traditionally held at Newgrange, Barnaslinghan Lane, Kilternan at the kind invitation of the late Frank Johnson. Following consultation with the ‘new’ Rector of Kilternan, Rev. Rob Clements, it has been decided to continue this worthwhile tradition albeit at a different venue.
Accordingly it has been decided that this year the Service and picnic will be held in Tullow Church grounds on Sunday 4th September commencing at 12:00noon.
All parishioners are encouraged to support this event as it provides the opportunity to not only meet with our neighbours from Kilternan but also to meet their new Rector who will preach on this occasion.
