Sunday 13th March saw 12 parishioners (plus 1 dog!) undertake a walk in Djouce Woods and Powerscourt Deerpark after the Tullow Friends charity soup lunch in the Parish Hall. Along the way snippets of historic trivia were explored and the visit of Queen Victoria to the area recalled! The weather on the day proved to be perfect and the appearance of some mild spring sunshine was most welcome. Following the walk, part of the group retired to Pluck’s of Kilmacanogue for light refreshments, making it was a great social occasion. The next group walk is scheduled for Sunday 8th May when it is planned to walk a circular route from Curtlestown to Prince William’s Seat. Walkers will leave the church grounds following coffee after the mid morning Service at 12.00pm sharp. Everyone welcome.
