The club finished the season on 17th May with a walk overlooking Lough Dan. This new route was well received by all as uphill walking was limited! In my first season as leader I am gradually learning the strengths and limitations of a mixed group. I hope to introduce a mixture of easy and more challenging walks in the new season.
A minor change is the elimination of Joyce’s beautiful soup which I could not possibly hope to emulate! Instead all walkers will bring a light picnic and we will start a little earlier from the Parish Hall. Full details of the programme will be available in the church during July.
