Open Air Service – a reflection

Sunday 4th September was the date when we once again held our annual Open-air Service and barbecue/picnic with our friends and neighbours from Kilternan parish. This year the event was held in Tullow Church grounds. As usual, the afternoon commenced with a Service at 12:00 noon at which the preacher was Rev. Rob Clements. The Service was then followed by a ‘bring your own’ picnic/ barbecue. It was great to welcome Rev. David and Isobel Moynan who were visiting from New Zealand. We were particularly fortunate with the weather as it was wet and windy on the Saturday and after some early mist on the Sunday
morning, the day turned out warm and sunny which contributed greatly to the relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
