Land of Promise? William Olhausen-exploration of Christian attitude to Holy Land – 7th & 21st May

Land of Promise? is an Anglican exploration of Christian attitudes to the Holy Land, with special reference to Christian Zionism. It addresses issues such as The Gift of the Land, Exile and Return, and Holy City and Temple. Commending Land of Promise? Host Naoum, Dean of St George’s Cathedral, Jerusalem, said, “Many stories are heard in this study; among them is the Palestinian Christian voice that calls for peace and reconciliation in the Holy Land. It is a very useful addition to the conversation and deserves to be widely read.”
A two-day course based on the document will be facilitated by Revd Dr William Olhausen, rector of Killiney Ballybrack. Part one will be on 7th May, and part two on 21st May; the venue is the Church of Ireland Theological Institute. This is being offered as part of the developing Jerusalem link.
