Uniformed Organisations’ Service – a review

This Service was held on 14th February and saw a great turnout of Guides, Cubs and Scouts which meet regularly in the Parish Hall. The Service began with the entrance of three colour parties carrying the Brownies, Scouts and Guides flags. As is usual, there was an ecumenical dimension to the Service as we welcomed leaders, members and parents from other Christian denominations. Thank you to the members of the various uniformed organisations who led the Readings and Prayers, their input was greatly appreciated. It was a notable occasion when the number of under 20’s exceeded the over 20’s at our main Sunday morning Church Service!
