May I sincerely thank the parishioners who so generously contributed to the Gift Day in September. A total of €16,500 has been received to date. It will be possible to reclaim tax on this amount during 2016 and the total benefit to the parish by the end of 2016 should exceed €20,000. In the meantime, our cash flow remains tight due to the essential works that had to be undertaken on the cupola on the church roof. I intend to close the Gift Day appeal at the end of November to accommodate any late contributions.
