Open-air Service & BBQ – an anniversary and a goodbye – don’t miss it! September 6th at 12noon

For the past ten years the informal open-air Service with the parishioners of Kilternan on the first Sunday of September has been an important date on our Parish Calendar. This has traditionally been held at Newgrange, Barnaslinghan Lane, Kilternan at the kind invitation of the late Frank Johnson. Those who have attended this event have always found it to be an uplifting occasion with beautiful surroundings and many activities for all ages during the Service, and picnic afterwards. The Johnson family have very kindly extended an invitation to hold the event again this year on 6th September. In honour of Frank and his immense contribution to our parish over the years, it would be great to see a large turnout of parishioners this year. In addition, this occasion will present us with the opportunity to say farewell to Canon David Moynan as he and Isobel plan their move to New Zealand at the end of September.
