On 24th July, we enjoyed a lovely concert “Highlights form the Operas,” in St. Paul’s Glenageary, followed by lunch at The George Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire, (kindly arranged by David Morton, a member.) Eleanor, the catering manager looked after us all very well, and it was a lovely hot day. The sea and yachts looked beautiful. Many thanks to everyone who helped out with the driving, parking and assistance with getting in and out etc.
Our next Connect will hopefully be a Harvest Lunch, (in the Rectory, possibly on Thursday 16th October), preceded by a service of Holy Communion in the Church.
Our CONNECT Group helps keep connected with each other and the church, those of us who may find it a little difficult to attend other Parish Activities., or who have moved away, or indeed into , the area. It’s a friendly informal group and if you would like to come to our Harvest Lunch or know of anyone who might, please get in touch.
