Another hard-fought tournament with the strong team of Mandy & Jonathan coming out on top ; both be warned that the handicap committee will take strict notice when choosing future pairings. Well done to Ashlyn & David who fought the good fight for the runners’ up prize. Congratulations to Ray, who received the coveted club T-shirt for his contribution to the club ; it highlighted one of his many attributes.
The ‘spread’ after the tournament was up to the usual standard and likely could have fed the whole parish, with Alan’s Chocolate biscuit cake taking the gold rosette !

Plans are afoot for the Annual Dinner when the new season starts ; out of many restaurants vying for this business, the Aprile in Stillorgan got the booking.
