From the fancy church hall in Clontarf to the culinary delights of Dun Laoghaire, the badminton club celebrated its inaugural dinner. It was a great success being supported by 20 – an almost full complement of – members and inevitably will become an annual event. Many thanks to Michael O’Kane for organising the evening and Morels for putting up with the rowdy bunch.
Not much to report on the badminton front, but plans are afoot for more grub – this time at the Xmas party, with maybe a little badminton beforehand!
