Bank lodgements – revised banking procedures for all Parishioners

The Bank of Ireland has changed the arrangements for Business Lodgements – which includes our weekly lodgements from Church collection (plate and envelopes). Under these new arrangements, we are now required to feed each bank note into a machine individually. All notes which are not completely flat and uncreased are rejected. In addition, we may only lodge coin if it is sorted and made up separately in minimum quantities of each denomination.

Parishioners could greatly assist this onerous process by:

                             1. Keeping notes as flat as possible

                             2. Keeping coins to a minimum

However, all contributions are most welcome and we will do our best to get them into our Bank Account.
