Nothing much to report, except that the all-round standard is definitely improving. This could well be due to the numbers turning up recently, as regular games undoubtedly help in ‘getting your eye in’ over a period of time.
Also, it does take time adjusting to our court – in particular the lighting. On-going debates as to how the lighting could be improved have been going on since we started and no doubt will continue. Funny though that the Junior Badminton group never complain about seeing the shuttle (maybe this elder group should all go to Specsavers).
Glad to report that female numbers have increased and it is great to see women’s doubles back on the menu.
