Our Christmas celebrations 2012 proved to be very special and helped many to capture the true spirit of the season. The Carol Service, which was followed by a seasonal reception organised by Hilary & Peter Cobb together with Hilary Cran and Sue Forsyth, was greatly appreciated by all. At all the Services, the atmosphere was helped in no small way by the contribution of a number of people. The Church, as always, was beautifully decorated by our team of flower arrangers under the watchful eyes of Janet Moore and Brigid FitzSimon and the Christmas tree was provided by David Cooper. The music and choir were ably led by our organist and director of music, Paul McNulty. To them, to readers and churchwardens, a big “Thank You.
Our special Advent “Green Jar” collection raised €600 for “Protestant Aid” and the Carol Service collection raised €800 for Barnardos.
