It is with great sadness that we let you know that Shirley Nicholson passed away peacefully on 12th October 2019 in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Merrion, Dublin 4.
Shirley’s funeral service will take place in Tullow Church at 11am on Wednesday 16th October followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.
Shirley was the beloved wife of the late Desmond, grandmother of the late Jan and loving mother of Claire, Tony, John and Vicki. She is sadly missed by Sir Henry, her devoted companion and sports partner in various activities over the last 25 years, also by her sons-in-law Don and Hari, daughters-in-law Etain and Jennifer, her 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
