Samuel Beckett’s connection with the church continues to attract wide attention. The weekly summer Beckett Walks organised by DLRCoCo, which start at the church, drew large numbers – except on the rare wet day! Thanks to the parishioners who acted as stewards for some of the walks.
A group of 19 attendees at the Trinity College Beckett Summer School who hailed from 8 countries worldwide visited the church as part of their tour of Beckett-related places. One made a very important discovery in the church which apparently will cause a stir in the Beckett academic world. It’s under wraps at the moment but watch this space!
